
THE WORK OF JARED YOUNG
Jared Young is a recent graduate of the Humber Film and Television Production Program. He has specialized in Cinematography and post-sound, which has led him to develop a passion for visual storytelling. His experiences have included working on a number of student films as a cam op, including the film "Get in my Gut!" along with "Monochrome," shot on a greenscreen, and various PSAs. These experiences have allowed him to hone his technical proficiency, attention to detail and ability to capture compelling visuals.
In addition, Jared has gained valuable experience in post-sound as a location mixer for "This is What it Feels Like" and as a Supervising Sound Editor for "B&E". Through these roles, he has demonstrated his ability to create immersive soundscapes that bring stories to life. His dedication to honing his craft and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in film and live production has been evident in all of his work so far.
Jared is a proactive learner who is eager to explore and expand his knowledge of the film and live production industry. In May, he is taking on the role of Lead Venue Technician at Bb Blanc, where he will apply his expertise to produce unforgettable live events. His passion for film and live production, combined with his technical proficiency, attention to detail, and creative drive, make him a valuable asset to any project he undertakes.
